Linden Lane Farms is reserving orders for Blackberry plants. This year we will be offering 'Arapaho', 'Black Satin', 'Navaho' and 'Triple Crown'.
2 Year old certified stock. $10 each.
Arapaho [NEW]: (Thornless)
Large, very firm, excellent flavour; good for fresh eating; vigorous, erect canes do not require trellising; can produce 10-15 pounds of berries per bush; ripens mid June into July.
Black Satin [NEW]: (Thornless)
Large, deep blue-black berries; excellent for jams, jellies, pies and fresh eating; vigorous, semi-erect canes; can produce 10-15 pounds of berries per bush; ripens late August to September.
Navaho [NEW]: (Thornless)
Large, black-blue, shiny black berries; good fresh eating variety also suitable for jellies, sauces and juice; vigorous, erect canes do not require trellising; can produce 12-15 pounds of berries per bush; ripens July to August.
Triple Crown: (Thornless)
Large, very sweet, shiny black berries; good for jellies, sauces and juice; vigorous, semi-erect canes; crown forming plant which bears a number of primocanes; can produce 30 pounds of berries per bush; ripens late July to September.
Pick up will be available at the Nelson Garden Festival (May 9th, 2015). We will still have a limited amount of non-reserved stock available at the festival, however we recommend reserving your orders as these are very popular items.
